Anberlin, one of my favorite bands, has written these lines in their most recent album and they're ringing ever true right now for me. Just part of the continual reminder that we should be living purposefully in our lives in everything that we do. We were placed on this Earth to glorify God, and He is greater than us and anything that we can do or achieve ourselves.
Deuteronomy 13:4 - "You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him." (Thanks Chris for finding that verse.)
We are here to serve Him, in all that we do. We need to be burning for Him and holding fast to Him, His wisdom and His grace.
